Wagener - Mr. Allen Jeffcoat, 85, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday July 26, 2011.
Mr. Jeffcoat is survived by his loving wife Helen Boozer Jeffcoat, children; Frank Jeffcoat of Cayce, Donald Jeffcoat of Lawton, OK, Carolyn (Raymond) Skaggs of MO, Connie Lybrand of Cayce, David Lybrand of Cayce and Judy Poole of Lexington, sister, Carrie Hair (Wade Long) of Swansea, 10 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Mr. Jeffcoat was born in Orangeburg Co. the son of the late Festus Eugene and Elzady Aultman Jeffcoat. He was also predeceased by his sister, Eva Dell Obyle.
Mr. Jeffcoat was a member of First Baptist Church–Wagener. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army where he served in World War II and also served in the U. S. Air Force where he retired with over 20 years of Military service.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main St. South, Wagener, SC. Funeral Service will be 5:00 pm Friday at First Baptist Church -Wagener with Rev. Philip Turner officiating. Burial will be at Ridge Crest Memorial Park in Batesburg, SC. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to First Baptist Church-Wagener, PO Box 398, Wagener, SC 29164.
