Wagener – Mr. Rudolph Sylvester Jackson (Hotshot), 77, entered into rest Thursday February 7, 2013.
Mr. Jackson was a native of Aiken County. He was a retired construction worker, who also served in the U. S. Army. He was the son of the late Lawton Jackson and Grace Raines and the brother of the late Margie Johnson. Mr. Jackson is survived by his children; Billy Joe Day (Lisa) of Aiken, Stevie Day (Catherine) of Wagener, Penny L. Cox (Ricky) and Tammy Tumbleston of Aiken, grandchildren; Samantha Dickson, Kym Driggers (Kim), Cody Brazell, Randy Sharpe, Adam L. Seigler, Tiara Day, Thelma Tindal, Tara Outlaw (John), Crystal McMillan (Aaron), Ashley Chaples (Tommy), Lewis Tindal (Jessica), Bryan Tindal (Kristie), Jason Tindal (Jenna), Stephanie Brooks (Nathan), Ashley Day and B. J. Day., great grandchildren; Elijah Driggers, Treasurer Day, Laura Tindal, Krista Tindal, Haley Tindal, D. J. Outlaw, Nicholas Outlaw, Parker Outlaw, Alexis Outlaw, Drew Outlaw, Bishop McMillan, Tommy Chaples, Even Tindal, Alexis Tindal, Jaden Tindal, Little Lewis Tindal, Logan Tindal, Zack Tindal, Amber Tindal, Jacob Tindal, Shane Tindal, Emily Tindal, Adrienne Tindal, Hannah Tindal, Katiln Tindal, Jason Tindal, Taylor Brooks, Tyler Brooks and Garrett Day.
The family expresses their grateful appreciation to the staff of Trinity Hospice and friends Jenna Shumpert and Leon Motes for their love and compassion the past weeks in helping take care of Daddy.
The family will receive friends in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home Saturday from 5 to 7 pm and Sunday from 5 to 7 pm and other times at the home of Stevie and Catherine Day. A time to celebrate the life of Mr. Jackson will be held in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home Monday at 5 pm.
