Wagener – Mr. Robert Lee Jackson, 75, entered into rest Sunday, September 19, 2010.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife of 55 years; Etta Mae Kneece Jackson, sons; Larry (Renee) Jackson of Batesburg, Randy Jackson, Mark (Chasiti) Jackson, Tracy Jackson, and Travis (Angie) Jackson all of Wagener, grandchildren; Jonathan Jackson, Christopher Jackson, Dana (John) Majerus, Amanda (Jim) McMahan, Jessica Jackson, Ramey Jackson, Corley Jackson, Taylor Jackson, Trevor Jackson, and Chelsea Baker, great grandchildren; Josh Morgan, Emilee Majerus, Jamie Majerus, and Wyatt Carnes, sisters; Alice Smith of Jacksonville, FL, Helen Henschen of Dayton, TN, Cathy Pilot, and Marie Cook of Wagener, brothers; Ronnie Jackson and Harmon Jackson of Wagener, and mother-in-law; Margie B. Kneece of Wagener.
Mr. Jackson was the son of the late Haskell and Ruby Payton Jackson. He was also preceded in death by brothers; James and Luke Jackson. He was a member of Bethcar Baptist Church and Cedar Lodge # 184, Wagener Chapter of the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Jackson was the owner of Aiken Mill Service.
Visitation is Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home (803) 564-5333, 163 Main Street South. The Funeral Service will be Thursday at 4 p.m. in the Bethcar Baptist Church with the Revs. Olin Sizemore and Chris Addy officiating. Burial will be in the Bethcar Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites.
