Wagener- Mrs. Lois Rushton Hutto, 97, entered into rest Wednesday, January 5, 2011.
Mrs. Hutto is survived by her children: Tony (Clara) Hutto of West Columbia and Barry Hutto of Wagener; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and sister Maradelle Ray of Wagener.
Mrs. Hutto was born April 13, 1913 in Aiken County to the late Willie Martin Rushton and Elsie Adelle Rawls Rushton Hooker. She was also preceded in death by her husband Horace Hutto and children Ralph J. Hutto, Peggy H. Smith and Elsie H. Brown, and sister Lizzie Anna Hutto. She has been a member of Convent Baptist Church since she was thirteen years old. Mrs. Hutto retired from Pacific Mills after thirty years of service.
Funeral Services will be Saturday at 2 pm at Convent Baptist Church with the Rev. Matt Miller officiating and Kenny Barnes assisting. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 pm at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home.
