Aiken – Ms. Doris Fulmer Hutson, 63 years old, born 3-11-53, entered into eternal rest at MUSC Hospital in Charleston Saturday, October 29, 2016. Born in Aiken County, she was the third born of six siblings to the late Luther Cannon and Norma Lee Courtney Fulmer.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Jennifer Lynn Hutson; and her sisters, Jane Kyzer and Dollie Fulmer.
Doris was a Christian woman and was kind hearted to all. She was employed as a Sales Clerk in various retail stores in Aiken.
Those left to cherish her fond memories: Her spouse of 18 years, James “Jim” Budd, love of her life and constant companion and his family; his father, Edwin J. Budd, Sr. of Aiken, SC; Jim’s daughters Jennifer K. Budd of Holtville, CA, Heidi Boroski (Shawn) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Candy Eyles Redfield (Chris) Keene of NH; Granddaughters, Jessica Deloach of Holtville, CA, and Allyssa Boroski of Myrtle Beach, SC; Grandsons, Keegan Boroski and Conner Boroski of Myrtle Beach, SC, Liam Redfield, Carter Sumner and Logan Sumner of Keene, NH; brothers, Edwin J. Budd, Jr. (Nancy) of Keene, NH, Robert Budd (Kelly) of Marlboro, NH and Richard Budd (Debra) of Franklin, NH; Sisters, Mary Lee Ritchie Stoll (Manfred) of Cayce, Justine Williamson (Jimmy) of Camden, and Sallie Oswald (Rocky) of Wagener; nieces and nephews and their families, Michael J. Ritchie, Jr. (Kimberly) of West Columbia, David L. Ritchie, III (Jenny) of Winston-Salem, NC, Meredith Williamson Atkinson (Jody) of Lugoff, Meagan Williamson of Durham, NC, Stephanie Oswald Allen (Sandy) of Springfield, and Roscoe “Stony” Oswald, III (Severine) of Boise, Idaho; brothers-in-law, Mark Kyzer of North Augusta, and Jeffrey Yon of Wagener.
The family would like to thank the staffs on the CVA/ICU floor at MUSC for their attentive care.
Blizzard Funeral Home of Wagener is serving the family. A Graveside Service will be held 2 pm Friday in the Courtney Family Cemetery with Pastor Geoffrey Mason officiating.
