Pelion - Sherri Ann Hooker passed away Friday, August 19, 2011.
Born March 22, 1963, Sherri was raised in Columbia SC and then Pelion. She was born the first child of three to Beverly Hooker and the late Thomas M Hooker Sr. She was also predeceased by a brother, Thomas M. Hooker Jr. (Tom).
Sherri graduated Brookland-Cayce High School in 1981. She will be remembered by all as someone who would "give the shirt off her back for anyone", an avid fairy collector, a lover of culinary delights, and of course the color purple. Always surrounded by her family and loved one, she has left a mark on all of us to continue her kindness, and share her 7 layer lasagna with more generations to come.
Sherri will be missed, but never forgotten by her family; sons Joshua, Eric, and Chris as well as her daughter-in-law, Britanny, granddaughter Eyrei, her mother Beverly, brother Joe and his wife Tonya, nieces and nephews; Amanda, Rebekkah, Hannah, Joedan (Kristen), and Jesse, great nephew, Tripp and her great grandmother Ruby.
A private celebration of her life will be held by her family and close friends Friday, August 26th, 2011.
