Wagener – Mr. Carol Aubrey Hooker, 66, entered into rest Saturday, January 22, 2011.
Mr. Hooker is survived by children Lee (Shirley) Snipes, Carol Aubrey “Peanut” (Sherrie) Hooker, Jr., Al (Renee) Hooker, and John (Jessie) Hooker, step daughters; Karen Galloway and Crystal Galloway and, grandchildren; Aaron Snipes, Avery Snipes, Christopher Hooker, Jennifer Hooker, Clayton Hooker, Kylee Hooker, Heather Hooker, Shane Mays, T. K. Mays, Justin Hooker, Brantley Holt, and Kayla Galloway, companion, Betty Fox and sister, Annie Rose Fogle of Neeses.
Mr. Hooker was the son of the late Carol Lee and Ida Jeffcoat Hooker. He was the also predeceased by his sisters Carolene H. Rish and Joyce H. Miller.
The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, at 1 p.m. in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home (803) 564-5333, 163 Main Street South, with Rev. John O’Cain officiating. Burial will follow at the Hooker Family Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 6 to 8 pm also in the Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 537 Long Point Rd., Ste. 203, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
