Gilbert – Mrs. Madge Grimsley Allen Hoff, 79, left for Heaven on Sunday, October 28, 2007.
Mrs. Hoff was born in McRae, GA; the daughter of the late Arthur Terrell and Mary Margaret “Mamie” Shaw Grimsley. She was also predeceased by sisters Betty G. Jackson and Laura G. Conyers, and brothers John Henry Grimsley and James Grimsley. .
Mrs. Hoff is survived by her children Ira W. “Bill” Allen, Jr. of Alburquerque, NM, James A. Allen of Gilbert, Vernon Carl (Gail) Allen of Macon, GA, and Ted (Mattie} Powell of Gaston, grandchildren James A. Allen, Jr. and Jenell of Charleston, Tammy Sue Allen of Wichita Falls, TX, Virginia Allen of Ranburne, AL, Stephanie Rozier of Brunswick, GA and April Powell of Gaston, sisters; Mary G. Strayer of Eastman, GA, and Maude G. Bowen of Hawkinsville, GA, brothers; Arthur H. “Buck” Grimsley of St. Marys, GA and Charlie (Nell) Grimsley of Helena, GA, and sister-in-law Jean Parker Grimsley of Harleyville, and brother-in-law Jimmy Lee Allen.
The Funeral Service will be, Saturday, November 3rd at 12 p.m. in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, (803) 564-5333. Visitation is Saturday at 11 am also in the chapel. Internment will be in the Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery near Neeses (2610 Ninety Six Road, Neeses, SC 29107).
