Denmark – Mr. Keith Allen Hiott, Sr., 62, departed his earthly life to be with Creator in his heavenly home, Wednesday, February 25, 2015.
Mr. Hiott was the husband of Rachel Marlene Stanley Hiott for thirty-seven years; father of Chasity Hiott of Ehrhardt, Marlena Hiott Gunnells, Keith A. Hiott, Jr. and his wife Jennifer, and Angela Lugene McCall all of Denmark, Lisa Marie McCall of Aiken and Connie Sue Harms of Wagener; grandchildren, Todd Folk, Anna Peeples, Cameron Peeples, Daniel Gunnells, Allye Ray and Keith Harms; great grandson Tony Ray Harms; brothers, John Hiott of Bamberg, and Roy “Bear” Kesson of Rowesville; sister, Cherry McCall of Ridge Spring and mother-in-law, Elizabeth F. Spell of Orangeburg.
Mr. Hiott was the son of the late Floyd and Allie Proveaux Hiott. He was also preceded in death by his sister Kathy Crosby.
Mr. Hiott was the Spiritual Leader of Rocky Swamp American Indian Ministries. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marines. Mr. Hiott obtained Associate Degrees in Automotive Mechanics and Climate Control from Orangeburg Technical College. He was an HVAC Technician with Savannah River Plant for thirty years.
A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, March 1st at Rocky Swamp American Indian Ministries, 7387 Neeses Hwy # 4, Springfield, SC 29146. A time of fellowship with the family will follow the memorial service.
