Sarah Estelle Harley Herlong
July 22, 1927 - July 12, 2009
North – Mrs. Sarah Harley Herlong, 81, entered into rest Sunday, July 12, 2009.
Mrs. Herlong is survived by her husband of 62 years Robert A. Herlong, Jr, grandchildren Robert Marion (Alisha) Herlong, Missy (Fred) Williams, and Michael (Marcia) Rubino, and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was the daughter of the late Willie Earl and Beatrice Scott Harley and was also predeceased by sons Bill and Jeffrey Herlong, brothers Clyde, Edward, John, Max, and Joe Harley, and sisters Evelyn and Mildred Harley and Myrtle Kerscher.
Mrs. Herlong was a member of Wayside Baptist Church and worked as a nurse at Baptist Hospital for many years.
The Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in the Wayside Baptist Tabernacle with Pastor Grover Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
