West Columbia – Visitation for Mr. Johnnie James Herlong, 81 will be Tuesday, May 8th at the Open Bible Baptist Church, 638 Whetstone Road, Swansea, 29160 from 6 to 7 p.m. and the Funeral Service beginning at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Tracy Thompson officiating. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Celestial Memorial Gardens, 3111 Delree St., West Columbia 29170.
Mr. Herlong entered into rest, May 6, 2007 at the Calhoun Convalescent Center. He was the son of the late James D. and Ruth Lucille McMillan Herlong. He was a veteran of the US Army having served during WWII.
Mr. Herlong is survived by several cousins.
