New Holland – Mr. Harold Ray Heath, 71, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at his residence. He fought a courageous battle for 21 months after suffering a massive stroke. His battle is over and he is now resting, at peace, with our Lord and Savior.
Harold was the son of the late Leon and Legatha Yon Heath, born September 5, 1944. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U. S. Air Force, retired from Southeastern Tool after 19 years, and was also a retired Aiken County Sherriff’s Deputy.
Harold is survived by four sons and a daughter. His sons are; Jeffery Ray Heath of Mt. Olive Mississippi, Shannon Ray Heath of Wagener, SC, Andrew Harold Heath of Irmo, SC, and Tristen McMillan of Wagener, SC. His daughter is Tessa (Eric) Grant of Appling, GA. Harold is also survived by three grandchildren, two sisters; Patsy (Donnie) Cook of New Holland, SC and Annette (Harlond) Jackson of Wagener, and a brother; Gene Heath of Couchton, SC. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Heath and sister, Laura Heath.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 13th at 3:00 pm at Bethcar Baptist Church in Wagener, SC, officiated by Rev. Chris Addy. Committal service will follow in the church cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service (2:00 pm) also at Bethcar Baptist Church.
