SPRINGFIELD - Mrs. Lucy Trawick Hallman, 65, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 25th.
Mrs. Hallman is survived by husband Earl “Buddy” Hallman, Jr., children Therisa (Tod) Tate of Newville, AL, Tonia (Tim) Beverett of Skipperville, AL, Tamara (Jimmy) Ivey and Tony (Christina) Baxley of Texasville, AL, Earl “Al“ (Micah) Hallman, III of Perry, Irby Hallman and Bonnie (David) Still of Williston, 17 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sisters Eathel (Wesley) Mason of Clopton, AL and Dorothy N. Sooter of Skipperville, AL, and sister Johnnie (Blue) Robertson of Lakeland, FL, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hallman had many friends, especially Mary Ann Brown, Woody & Wendy Stanley and Bill Hasty.
Mrs. Hallman was the daughter of the late Charles Wesley “CW” and Nellie Florine Baxley Trawick, and sister of the late George Wesley Trawick. She was a member of the Rocky Grove Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main St., South (803) 564-5333.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 4:00 p.m. from the Rocky Grove Baptist Church with the Reverend John O’Cain officiating. Internment will be in the Church Cemetery.
The Deacons of the church will serve as pallbearers and members of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class will be honorary pallbearers.
