Salley - Mr. Harry Edward Hallman, 88, entered into rest Friday, January 15th.
Mr. Hallman was the husband of the late Susie Poole Hallman, the father and father-in-law of Hazel & Ray Hanna, Shirley & James A. “Ringo” Jones and Brenda & David Steen all of Salley, grandfather of seven, great grandfather of thirteen, and brother and brother-in-law of Melba Jeffcoat, Cecil & Lillie Mae Hallman, Ada Mae Hutto all of Salley, and the late Ferrell Hallman, J. B. Hallman and Terrell Hallman.
Mr. Hallman was born in Aiken County, the son of the late Jerue Burt and Zalie Polly Johnson Hallman. He was a member of Clinton United Methodist Church and president of the CUMC Men’s Club.
The family will receive friends at the home of Hazel and Ray Hanna.
A Funeral Service will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in the Clinton United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Williamson officiating. Mr. Hallman will be placed in the church at 2:30. The family will receive friends at the church before and after the service.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Clinton United Methodist Church at 333 Hollow Creek Road, Salley, SC 29137. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
