Wagener – Mrs. Lucille Gunter Grandy, 83, entered into a good nite sleep Thursday to awake with her Lord Jesus Christ.
Mrs. Grandy was the daughter of the late Ollie C. and Callie M. Gantt Gunter. She was the widow of Rev. Randall Grandy and also predeceased by children Randy Grandy and Gail Grandy, and brothers Brice M. Gunter and Ray B. Gunter. Mrs. Grandy was a member of Pauline Church of Christ.
She is survived by grandson William Keith (Pamela) Grandy, 4 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will be Saturday at 5 p.m. in the Pauline Church of Christ, 3036 Fairview Road, Leesville, SC 29070 with the Rev. Rick Farwell officiating. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Grandy request that memorials be made to the Pauline Church of Christ at 523 Wagontong Road, Wagener, SC 29164. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 6 to 8 pm in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home (803) 564-5333, 163 Main Street South.
