Salley – Mrs. Valmarie Bailey Goff, 93, went to be with the Lord, Monday, October 15, 2012.
Mrs. Goff had been living with and being cared for by her son and daughter-in-law Edward H. and Carolyn Goff, Jr. in Tamassee, SC. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Karen Goff, brothers Bence (Annie Lou Hall) Bailey, and Roy (Joyce) Bailey, grandsons Brad (Tammy) Goff, Jason Goff, Shawn (Kelly) Goff, and Travis (Tanya) Goff and granddaughter Tara Goff, granddaughter-in-law Vikki Goff, and great grandchildren Jessica Goff, Adam Goff, Bryan G. Goff, Jr, Caroline Goff, Katherine Goff, Jacob Goff, Dalton John Goff, Zachary Smith and Nicholas Smith.
She was the widow of Edward H. Goff, Sr. and daughter of the late Levi and Minerva “Gassie” Hutto Bailey. She was preceded in death by her son John Allan Goff and sisters and brothers Hazel Lilly, Roy Bailey, Levi “L.B.” Bailey, Melmer Bailey, Louise Sheppard, Nora Bailey, and Wayne Bailey, and grandson Bryan Gregory Goff, Sr.
Mrs. Goff was a member of Berlin Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in the Berlin Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 1:00 in the Berlin Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Tommy Huddleston officiating.
