Wagener - Mrs. Margeret G. Goff, 61, entered into rest Monday, March 7th, 2011. She lived most of her life in the Wagener area and moved to Spruce Pine, NC upon retiring.
Mrs. Goff was a loving wife and mother who is survived by her husband of 10 years, William E. Goff, sons and daughters-in-law; Robert and Barbara Johnson, Richard and Penny Johnson, and Ray’s wife, Sheila Johnson, daughter and son-in-law; Melissa and Jim Lambert, grandchildren; Waylon, Kevin, Crystal, Matt, Christopher, Rebekah, Kimberly, Richard, Jr., Tiffany and Lee, 11 great grandchildren, brother Gatlin M. Gunter, Jr. and his wife Betty, and sisters Ann Hoover-Repic and her husband Tom, Sara Shealy and her husband Mickey and Susan and her husband Ricky.
Mrs. Goff was the daughter of the late Gatlin Martin Gunter, Sr. and Mary Inez Snipes Gunter. She was also predeceased by her son Carol Ray Johnson.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 – 8 pm in the Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 10 am Friday in the Calvary United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The family asks that memorials be made to the Calvary United Methodist Church at P.O.
