WAGENER - Mrs. Lillie Ruth Baughman Garvin, 91, entered into rest Monday, May 26, 2014.
Mrs. Garvin was born in Aiken County, daughter of the late Ocie Ola and Lula Walker Baughman. She was the widow of Fern Hansen "Monk" Garvin whom she was married to for 56 years prior to his death in 2004, and also preceded in death by his son Richard Allen Garvin and brothers and sisters Lennie Poole, Lila Day, Lassie Rodgers, Albert Baughman and Flossie Wise.
Mrs. Garvin is survived by a sister Melba (Jack) Lybrand of Columbia, several nieces and nephews and, special friend Bobby Hydrick.
Visitation will be held in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home Wednesday from 10 to 11 am . A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 11 am with the Rev. Philip Turner officiating. Burial will be at the Wagener Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Wagener at P. O. Box 398, Wagener, SC 29164.
