Wagener – Mr. Calvin Norman Garrett, 82, joined our Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 7, 2016.
Mr. Calvin was the husband of Annett Evans Garrett for 22 years. He was the father of: Calvin (Kim) Garrett, Jr., Lisa LaGrange, Timmy (Angela) Green, Danny (Julie) Green, Tammy (Curtis) Bowers, Micky (Edie) Green, John Green and the late Ricky Green, grandfather of 16, great grandfather of 14, and brother of Janice Pecor and brother in California.
Mr. Calvin was born in Enosburg Falls, Vermont to the late Delbert and Laura Bernard Garrett. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, the U. S. Air Force where he was a paratrooper, and also served in the U. S. Army Reserve. He was a member of Perry First Assembly of God where he had served as a deacon and trustee.
A Service to Celebrate Mr. Calvin’s life will be 2:00 pm Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Perry First Assembly of God with Pastor Roger Hunnicutt ministering to the family. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military honors.
