Eutawville- Mr. Gene Ray Gantt, entered into rest Sunday, June 28, 2015.
Gene was born in Lexington County, the son of the late Israel Clayton Gantt, Jr. and Bertha Clark Gantt. Mr. Gantt was a U. S. Army Veteran having served in Vietnam.
Gene is survived by his daughter Lisa (Sammy) Bird, grandchildren; Drew Rutland, Logan Bird, Ashlyn Rutland and Luke Bird, brother, Tony Ely Gantt of Kentucky and sister Rita Elaine Gary of Gaston.
A Service to celebrate Gene’s life will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 30th at Perry First Assembly of God, 4489 Festival Trail Rd (Highway # 39), Wagener, SC 29164, with a fellowship following.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
