Wagener – Mrs. Betty Ruth Rodgers Rish Gantt, 74, entered into rest Thursday, Oct 18th.
Mrs. Gantt is survived by her children; Linda R. Rabon and Kenneth Edward “Eddie” (Wanette) Rish of Wagener, Allen (Edith) Rish of Rosemont, MN, Wanda Faye (James) Scott of Sumter, Malcolm Ray (Cathy) Rish of Appling, GA, and Roger William (Laura) Gantt of Gilbert, 19 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, sister Gloria Seigler of Wagener and brother, Franklin Rodgers of Leesville.
Mrs. Gantt was born in Aiken County and was a member of Seivern Baptist Church. She is predeceased by her parents Henry Albert and Mildred Louise Bonds Rodgers, husband George Malcolm Rish, and brother Jack Rodgers.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main St. South, Wagener, S.C. (803) 564-5333. The Funeral service will be 4:00 pm Monday in the Seivern Baptist Church with the Rev. Milford Oswald officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
