Lincolnton, GA and formerly of Wagener, SC – Ms. Betty Faye Farr, 73, took her journey to her heavenly home, while surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, February 25, 2015.
Ms. Farr was born in Dry Fork, Virginia, daughter of the late Louis Perry and Clara Bennett Cobbler Farr. She was also preceded in death by her brother William Farr. Ms. Farr was a member of Wagener United Methodist Church when she lived in Wagener.
Ms. Farr is survived by her children, Robin (Peggy) Jeffcoat of Augusta, GA, Wendy (Donnie) Fulmer of Wagener and Chris (Jill) Kaylor of North Augusta; grandchildren, Amanda (Jeffrey) Rhoden, Seth Fulmer, Danny Kaylor, Mindy (Josh) Ponce and Rebecca Jeffcoat; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Bobby (Ellen) Farr, Franklin “Frankie” (Debbie) Farr all of Wagener; sister, Jo Anne Fogle of Easley, many nieces and nephews; and special friend Ira Reeves of Lincolnton, GA.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Blizzard Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Rocky Grove Baptist Church, Salley, SC, with the Reverend John O’Cain officiating. Burial will follow in the Wagener Cemetery. Ms. Farr will be placed in the church for viewing one hour prior to service. Pallbearers will be, Clay Farr, Al Fogle, Bryan Farr, Caleb Redmond, Shawn Woods and Tanner Fogle.
