Salley- Mrs. Geraldine “Gerry” McKenzie Farless, 75, went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 31st, 2011.
Mrs. Farless was the mother of Kenny (Angela) Farless of Columbia and Renée (Jamie) Hutson of Springfield and, grandmother of Amber Lynn Farless, James Ryan Farless, Marissa Michelle Hutson, and Kaitlin McKenzie Hutson, great grandmother of Breanna Keria Miles, brother Elton McKenzie of Elgin, and sister-in-law of Virginia “Ginny” Gambino of North Tonawanda, N.Y.
Mrs. Farless was born in Mullins the daughter of Raymond and Vivian Bullard McKenzie. She was the widow of James Thomas Farless.and also predeceased by brother Ethel McKenzie.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Sunday at 3 pm in King Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Ellis "Cook" Addy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
