Iva Louise Meadows Devore

Salley – Mrs. Iva Louise Meadows Devore, 73, entered into rest Saturday March 19, 2016.
Mrs. Louise is survived by her husband of 42 years, Kenneth “Kenny” B. Devore, Sr., children; Bobbie Glassman, and Kenneth B. Devore, Jr., grandchildren; Dylan Glassman and Jacob Glassman.
She was the daughter of the late Lewis Mitchell Meadows and Odessa Mae Ferrell Meadows. She was also predeceased by her daughter Brenda Kay Devore, twin brother, John L. Meadows and sister, Janice M. Pearson.
Mrs. Louise loved to make quilts, she won first prize at Wagener Bank for one of her quilts. She was a good cook and she loved to bake pies. She liked to give things to other people. She canned a lot of the produce she and Mr. Kenny grew in their garden.
A graveside service will be held at Southland Memorial Gardens, West Columbia, Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Jack Atkinson officiating.
