New Holland - Mr. Christopher “Chris” Summers Culvern, 54, died Monday, April 28, 2014.
Born August 2, 1959 in Columbia, Christopher was the son of the late Fred Elms Culvern, Jr. and the late Doris Duffie Culvern.
Christopher was a sales representative for McKesson Medical. He worked in the medical industry for over 25 years. An avid hunter, Christopher loved the outdoors and spending time with his family.
Christopher is survived by his wife Kathryn Jones Culvern, sons Anderson Elms Culvern and Creighton Summers Culvern, brother Fred Elms (Joanne) Culvern, Jr., sisters Anne Culvern Lee, and Doris Culvern (William) Brock, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the Wagener United Methodist Church, 153 Columbia Road, Wagener, SC. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall one hour prior to the service.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, that memorials be made to the Wagener United Methodist Church at P. O. Box 265, Wagener, SC 29164.
