Salley - Mr. Olin Dantzler “Buck” Corbitt, III, 71, entered into rest Tuesday, February 3rd.
Mr. Corbitt is survived by his wife Nellie Jackson Corbitt, a brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was born in Orangeburg County, the son of the late Olin Dantzler Corbitt, Jr. and Claude Roof Gleaton Corbitt. He was a member of Hopewell Southern Methodist Church, a veteran of the S. C. National Guard, and a volunteer fireman with the Hollow Creek Fire Department.
The Funeral Service will be in the Hopewell Southern Methodist Church, Friday at 2 pm with the Rev. Nathaniel Waites officiating. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the Hopewell Southern Methodist Church Cemetery and Grounds Fund at 1715 Ninety-Six Road, North, SC 29112. Visitation will be held in the church one hour prior to the service.
