Pelion – Mr. Marion Lance “Bo” Cooper, 85, entered into rest Monday, January 12, 2015.
Mr. Cooper is survived by his sons Patrick B. Cooper and Ashley L. Cooper; grandchildren, Patrick L. Cooper, Jennifer Ann Cooper, Christian Ann Cooper, Jeffery Shook and Bonnie Shook; great grandchildren, Valorie Cooper and Benjamin Strickland, and sister, Jackie Tanner.
Mr. Cooper was born in Pelion to the son of the late Willie Lee and Velma Sturkie Cooper and also preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Loraine Hill Cooper; children, Clayton Scott Cooper and Marian Janice Gunter; and his brothers, Bill and Wayne Cooper.
Mr. Cooper was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Cooper’s Visitation/Funeral Service will be Thursday in the Blizzard Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Pelion. A time of fellowship at the Cooper home will follow after the burial.
