Salley- Mrs. Joyce Rutland Cooper, 84, entered into rest Friday, July 8, 2011.
Mrs. Cooper is survived by her children; Nancy Milliken of Williston, SC, Michael Cooper (Linda) of Neeses and Robert Cooper (Helen) of Williston, grandchildren; Troy Cooper, Roy Ross, Brian Cooper, Katie Cooper, Adam Cooper, Ashle Cooper, Briana Jacobs, Jackson Cooper and Annabelle Cooper, great grandchildren; Lindsay Cooper, Kaylie Cooper, Jonathan Dicks, Davis Cooper, Paxton Leach, McKenzie Brown, Bryce Ross and Lily Claire Ross, and sister Rita Zickl of Pelion.
Mrs. Cooper was born in April of 1927 the daughter of Oscar and Ruth Brown Rutland. She was the widow of Jule Cooper and also proceeded in death by sister Hazel King.
Mrs. Cooper was a member of Salley Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3 – 4:30 pm in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 5:00 pm Sunday in the Salley Oakview Cemetery with the Rev. Henry Cooper officiating.
