Wagener - Mr. Steve Welsh Conder, II, 61, entered into rest Friday January 24, 2014.
Steve is survived by his mother Lucille H. Conder of Irmo, son and daughter-in-law Steve W. Conder, III and Julia, grandchildren Matthew and Abby all of Aiken, sisters and brothers-in-law Martha Heiler and Roger of Palm Bay, FL and Susan Lubick and Harry of Irmo, bother Robert "Bobby" Conder of FL, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Steve was born in Coral Gables, FL, the son of Lucille Holder Conder and the late Harry Randolph Conder, Sr. He was married to the late Wanda Ann Conder and was also predeceased by brothers Harry R. Conder, Jr., Jimmy Conder and George Conder.
Steve was a Vietnam veteran having served in the U. S. Air Force.
Steve moved to Wagener recently after a decline in his health where he lived with his nephew Eric Conder and his girl friend Mary Murphy, who took care of his health needs. His niece Shelly Leach also helped to take care of him.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday at the Perry Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors provided by the U. S. Air Force honors team.
