Laura Marie Sanders Carver

New Holland – Mrs. Laura Marie Sanders Carver, 102, entered into rest Wednesday, October 12, 2016.
Born in Aiken County, she was the daughter of the late John Newton and Anna Corneila Rowe Sanders.
Mrs. Laura Marie was the mother of Phyllis C. and Robert Busbee, the late John and Carolyn Carver, and the late Peggy C. and Paul Gunter. She was the grandmother of Crystal and Larry Tindall, Boyce Carver, Laurie and Todd Holmes, Michael and Trish Gunter, Rhonda and Parnell Harmon, Christopher and Kim Busbee, and Heather and Todd Blalock, and great grandmother of Kaitlyn Carver, Jarrod Storey, Kate and Erik Marr, Paul Gunter, Jr., Candice Wall, Lace Wall, Gian Busbee, Nevaeh Busbee, Andrew Blalock and Jacob Blalock, great great grandmother of Riley Mae Carver, Payton Wall, Kenneth Wall and Ashton Wall, and Abby Marr. She was the sister of the late Nancy Gunter, Claude Gunter, Georgia Cumbee, Ruby Smith and Jerome Sanders.
Mrs. Laura Marie was a life time member of New Holland Baptist Church. She still lived independently at home preparing her meals and doing all her household chores. Mrs. Laura Marie loved gardening up until her mid 90s.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 pm in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The Funeral Service will be held Monday at 2 pm in the New Holland Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Owen McAlister will minister for the service.
