Salley – Mrs. Constance “Connie” Kirkland Boylston, 93, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 4, 2015.
Mrs. Connie was born in New Holland to the late Wilson and Mabelle Hydrick Kirland. She was also preceded in death by her husband Reginald “Reg” Wyatt Boylston, Sr. and her brother William “Bill” Hydrick Kirkland. Mrs. Connie graduated Columbia College and taught in Windsor and Wagener-Salley schools. She was a member of Salley Baptist Church.
Mrs. Connie is survived by her daughter Donna (Clint) Black of Salley and son Reginald “Rex” W. (Vicki) Boylston, Jr. of Lexington; grandchildren, Melissa (Bobby) Green, Leigh Anne (Robby) Crumpton, Barbara “Barbie” (Jason) Hallman, Bridgett (Luke Harter) Black, Staci (Brian) D’Amico, and R. Wyatt Boylston, III and great grandchildren, Kirkland Charles Craven, Kaylee Constance Craven, Austin Everett D’Amico and Rylie Hollynn D’Amico.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 7th from 2 to 3 p.m. at Salley Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3 pm in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in the Salley Oakview Cemetery. The Reverends Phillip Proveaux and Henry Cooper will officiate. Memorials may be made to Salley Baptist Church.
