Wagener - Mr. Bruce Phyfer Boger, 98, entered into rest Monday, July 4, 2011.
Mr. Boger was born in Crew, VA son of the late Lonnie Daniel and Jenny Collette Boger. He was also predeceased by his wife Lillie Inez Anderson Boger of forty eight years.
Mr. Boger was a member of Wagener United Methodist Church. He was member for 63 years of the licensed carpenters’ unions.
Mr. Boger is survived by Ralph E. (Janet) Boger of Richmond, VA, Rev. Vernon O. (Annette) Anderson of Laurens, and Connie Faye Itani of Jacksonville, FL, Grandchildren; Michael Boger, Shelly Simmons, Randi Abrens, Daniel Yates, Steven Yates, Bradley Anderson, Traywick Anderson, Mike Itani, and Melissa Itani Walton, and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Wagener United Methodist Church. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Wagener United Methodist Church with the Reverends Scott Smoak and Tom Norrell officiating. Burial will be in the Wagener Cemetery.
