Orangeburg – Mr. Johnny Jay Barney, Sr., 61, entered into rest Monday, January 11, 2016.
Mr. Barney is survived by his children, Jay (Molly) Barney of Pelion, Michelle (Chad) Rosser of Aiken, Amanda Barney of Crandall, TX, and Elizabeth (Cody) Carter of El Paso, TX; grandchildren, Tucker, Tori, Carson, Cade Beth, Charlie and Presley; and brother, Chico (Nancy) Cheeks of Orangeburg.
Mr. Barney was born in Charleston, the son of the late Peggy Fort Fogle McQueen and Bruce Barney.
Visitation will be from 3 to 4 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main Street South, Wagener, SC 29164. The Funeral Service will be held at 4pm Wednesday also in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John O’Cain officiating. Interment will be in the Salley Oak View Cemetery.
