Salley – Mrs. Novella Perdue Hall Bailey, 85, a loving mother, grandmother and best friend, was born in Aiken County, the daughter of the late George Perdue and Adele Jackson. She was married to the late Levi Bailey for 38 years, and is survived by children; Annie Lou Hall and Betty Jean Fox of Salley, and Leroy Hall of Martinez, GA, grandchildren; Susie (David) Payne, and Shirley (Alfred) Young, and Wyman Hall, great grandchildren; Lori (Jamie) Poole, Amber Payne all of Salley, Darrel Hooker, and Timothy Hooker of Neeses, great great grandchildren; Savannah Poole, Zachery Hooker, Jamie Poole and Andrew Hooker, sisters Daisy Smith of Augusta, GA and Edith (Willie) Wingard of Wagener. Mrs. Bailey was also predeceased by sisters Ruth Amaker and Elizabeth Hallman.
Mrs. Bailey entered into rest Wednesday, Feb. 27th. Visitation is Saturday from 7 to 9 pm in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home (803) 564-5333, 163 Main Street South. The Funeral Service will be Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Bethcar Baptist Church where she had been a devoted member for many years. Rev. Chris Addy, Rev. Brian Thomason and Rev. John O’Cain will conduct the services. She will be placed in the church an hour before the service for viewing. Internment will follow in the church cemetery.
