Wagener – Mr. Matthew Nathaniel “Jr.” Anderson, Jr., 70, entered into rest Friday, December 16, 2016.
Mr. Jr. Anderson was the husband for 44 years to Willa Mae Hughes Anderson; the father of William McKinley Anderson, Christian Matthew “Matt” Anderson both of Wagener, and Christopher Henry “Chris” (Shana) Anderson of Windsor. He was the brother of Casina (Brunson) Cromer, Michael (Faye) Anderson all of Aiken and the late Larkie A. Jeffcoat.He was the uncle of several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Jr. Anderson was son the late Matthew N. Anderson, Sr. and Ollie Ellen Widener Anderson. He was retired from Owens Corning and was a member of Berlin Baptist Church. Mr. Jr. loved his family and church family. He loved to garden and share the fruits of his labor with friends.
The Funeral Service will be 3 pm Monday at Berlin Baptist Church with Visitation beginning an hour prior to the service in the church fellowship building. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. George Koon and Rev. James Irick will be ministering to the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Berlin Baptist Church at P. O. Box 190, Wagener, SC 29164.
